2. Run the Password Reset Command:

5. Login to the OLS Admin Console:

– Once the password is updated, you can log in to the OpenLiteSpeed Admin Console using the new credentials.

Tip: If port 7080 is blocked, allow only your trusted administrator IP on the OLS server:

sudo ufw allow from 192.0.2.10 to any port 7080 proto tcp

Replace 192.0.2.10 with your actual public administrator IP. Configure the hosting-provider firewall separately if present; a server-local UFW rule does not open the provider firewall. Remove the same temporary rule afterwards with sudo ufw delete allow from 192.0.2.10 to any port 7080 proto tcp. If login fails, verify the intended OLS server, username and reset output before retrying; do not open the console to everyone as a workaround.
