Fix a bulk IP list import

If a cPFence v4+ bulk whitelist or blacklist fails, check the reported source and line first.

For pasted lists, review one entry per line and the selected servers. Select the image for full size; use browser Back to return.

1. Confirm the URL returns the intended plain-text list rather than a login page, HTML error or redirect to unrelated content.
2. For a file, confirm it is a regular readable file on every selected server.
3. Use one valid IPv4/IPv6 address or CIDR per line. Blank lines and # comments are allowed; remove malformed entries identified by the error.
4. Keep the list small enough for the reported limits. An empty or invalid list is not a successful import.
5. Retry only the corrected work, then inspect each server’s current policy.

Windows line endings

cPFence v4+ trims line-ending whitespace. CRLF alone does not require conversion. If your file contains other formatting problems, save a clean plain-text copy; dos2unix FILE can normalize endings when that utility is available.

Some targets may already have changed

Check each result before retrying. A source file can be missing on one server while another succeeds. Preserve the original list for explicit removal if recovery is needed.
