Change Layer7 protection for one domain

Layer7 protection has its own domain switch; identifying values hidden. Select the image for full size; use browser Back to return.

1. In cPFence v4+ WAF Management, choose one server.
2. Open Manage domain, select Domain and open Domain settings.
3. Set Layer7 protection, then Save.
4. Confirm the saved value and review the domain’s current requests.

Support users need domain/protection-management permission. As root on the target, substitute the domain:

Enable for domain	cpfence --enable-layer7-waf-domain example.com
Disable for domain	cpfence --disable-layer7-waf-domain example.com

Other policy can still block the request

Layer7, bot and custom WAF IP policies are separate controls. Disabling automatic Layer7 protection does not remove your custom WAF IP list or turn off bot protection.

Use global Layer7 controls only for a server-wide change. For a false positive, prefer one rule exception and review engine limits.
