Change bot protection for one domain

Bot protection has its own domain switch; identifying values hidden. Select the image for full size; use browser Back to return.

1. In cPFence v4+ WAF Management, choose one server.
2. Open Manage domain, select Domain and open Domain settings.
3. Set Bot protection, then Save.
4. Review the saved value and current requests for that domain.

Support users need domain/protection-management permission. As root on that server, use the intended command with the actual domain:

Enable for domain	cpfence --enable-bot-protection-domain example.com
Disable for domain	cpfence --disable-bot-protection-domain example.com

Automatic protection and custom lists are different

This switch changes the domain’s automatic bot protection. Custom user-agent lists remain separate policies; disabling one switch is not a promise that every bot request will pass.
