Activate per-website billing

Per-website billing covers your Enhance cluster under one license. Have access to the client area and root access to your main control panel server.

Request activation

1. If you do not have a license, order a free-trial starter license; you can skip PayPal payment. Existing license holders can skip this step.
2. Install cPFence on your main control panel server and check that its license is Active with cpfence --status.
3. Before requesting activation, obtain the current v4 validation instructions from the billing team through a support ticket.
4. Complete that validation, then request per-website activation in your ticket with the requested activation key. Keep it private.
5. After confirmation, review the new invoice and check license status on your servers.

The starter license lets you prepare for activation. Per-website billing itself has no free trial: activation generates an invoice immediately. Keep cPFence installed and running on the main control panel server to maintain the license.

Keep cPFence running on the main server

Do not uninstall cPFence from your main control panel server while using per-website billing; its availability maintains your license. If you do not want its protection features, turn off the specific modules in System Settings while keeping cPFence installed.

How counting and coverage work

Only main websites count; subdomains and service domains do not. The website count is updated monthly when the invoice is generated. One key covers all server IPs in your cluster, including main control panel, mail, DNS, backup, and application/database servers.

After activation

Use per-website IP synchronization when adding servers. If activation or the invoice does not match your request, reply to the billing ticket before retrying.
