Install a WordPress theme

  1. Choose the intended servers and sites. Start with one installation.
  2. Open Choose action → Bulk tools → Themes → Install theme or ZIP.
  3. Choose Source. Use Slug, URL or path for Repository slug, HTTPS URL or Server path, Stored upload for a saved package, or ZIP file for Upload ZIP. Verify repository slugs.

Install theme or ZIP form with Source and package fields

Choose the theme source and check the selected sites and servers before reviewing the installation. Select the image to view it full size; use your browser’s Back command to return.
  1. Review the action and targets, then confirm. Read every site’s final result, including skips. Finished can include failed sites; see Read the outcome.

A server path must exist on the execution server. An uploaded ZIP needs a successful installation result; uploading alone does not install it. Check the installed version and site health.

From a root terminal on the server hosting the sites, install a repository theme by its slug:

Terminal window
cpfence --bulk-install-wp-theme twentytwentyfour

Review /var/log/cpfenceav/wp-sites-list.txt and the inventory prompt first. This method uses that server’s listed installations, not the checked WebUI rows.

For automation, supply a slug or a trusted direct HTTPS ZIP URL:

Terminal window
cpfence --bulk-install-wp-theme-auto twentytwentyfour
Terminal window
cpfence --bulk-install-wp-theme-auto https://example.com/custom-theme.zip

The automatic method skips confirmation. Check the package and list first, and save customizations before overwriting premium or modified themes. Read each site’s final output for download, installation or compatibility failures. Activate the theme separately when ready; installing it does not change the active theme.
