Enable or disable email quarantine

Email quarantine in cPFence v4+ is independent of website-file quarantine.

Detection settings showing Email Quarantine separately from Email Scanning and Email Spam Protection, with server scope and Save.

Review scanning and quarantine separately. The picture shows saved settings, not proof that a message was quarantined. Identifying values are hidden. Select the image for full size; use browser Back to return.
  1. Open Threat & Malware Detection, choose one server and open Settings.
  2. Set Email Quarantine, then Save.
  3. Check the saved value and each detected message’s action in scan output.

Email Scanning must be enabled separately. Support users need target-server access and protection-setting permission.

Run as root on the target server:

Action Command
Enable email quarantine cpfence --enable-email-quarantine
Disable email quarantine cpfence --disable-email-quarantine
