Trust or stop trusting a sender email

Open Spam AutoShield and choose the mail server whose policy you want to inspect. The master must be on for stored entries to take effect; see the illustrated Spam AutoShield guide.

Spam AutoShield Trust Email form with blank Value, complete-address helper, Current server target and Review summary.

Choose the intended sender and target for this exception. This blank form has not added trust. Select the image to enlarge it; use your browser's Back command to return.
  1. Click Add entry and choose Trust.
  2. Set Entry type to Email and enter the complete sender address.
  3. Choose Apply to, review the servers, then click Add trusted entry.
  4. Read every server’s result and refresh the intended list.

To remove the trust exception, filter List and Type, find the exact value, and use Remove on the displayed server. Review its confirmation and result.

Prefer a single-address exception when trusting an entire domain or network would be too broad.

From a root terminal on the intended mail server, trust a sender address:

Terminal window
cpfence --add-spam-autoshield-wl-email [email protected]

Remove that same trust exception:

Terminal window
cpfence --del-spam-autoshield-wl-email [email protected]

Replace the example with the complete address of the legitimate partner you intend to trust. These commands update this mail server’s policy, not the WebUI’s Apply to selection. Read the result and refresh its email trust list.

Keep the list small and review exceptions periodically to maintain useful filtering. The current trust rule requires passing SPF or DKIM; it does not guarantee delivery or remove separate blocks. Remove the exception when it is no longer needed.
